​During the 2019 PB cycle, the 36th Ward hosted 2 idea collection events. Community representatives worked with ward staff and city agencies to develop 7 ballot items, including street resurfacing. Voting took place from October 22 to November 22. 1053 residents voted at the ward office, in the community, and online.

​During the 2018 PB cycle, the 36th Ward hosted 3 idea collection events. Community representatives worked with ward staff and city agencies to develop 7 ballot items, including street resurfacing. Voting took place from August 6 to September 14. 816 residents voted at the ward office, in the community, and online.

​During the 2017 PB cycle, the 36th Ward hosted 3 idea collection events. Community representatives worked with ward staff and city agencies to develop 8 ballot items, including street resurfacing. Voting took place from September 30 through October 28. 723 residents voted at the ward office, in the community, and online.

During their second cycle, the 36th Ward hosted 3 idea collection events and solicited 91 project ideas.  Community representatives worked with ward staff and city agencies to develop 7 ballot items.  Voting took place October 9-21, 2016.  1,070 residents voted at 7 voting locations throughout the ward.

Street resurfacing ($550,000)

Chicago Academy playground and Blackhawk Park basketball court ($140,000) - 669 votes
School safety projects at Hanson Park, St. William, and Locke School ($50,000) - 393 votes
Athletic fields at Bell Park and Steinmetz High School ($175,000) - 351 votes
Reinberg Elementary playground and Hermosa traffic projects ($145,000) - 315 votes

Runners-up
Park and library improvements - 277 votes
Turn signal at Oak Park and Grand - 209 votes
Diagonal parking at community churches - 165 votes

Community representatives worked with ward staff and city agencies to develop 9 ballot items.  Voting took place April 25-May 7, 2016. 792 residents voted at 5 voting locations throughout the ward.
