The results are in! Thank you to everyone who voted in this year's participatory budgeting cycle. After the top winning votes, there is a remaining balance of $104,819 for the 2020 Aldermanic discretionary budget. Alderwomen Maria Hadden and the 49th Ward staff will convene with the leadership committee to determine how to allocate that balance. |

2018 CycleDuring the 2018 PB cycle, the 49th Ward hosted 8 idea collection events. Community representatives worked with ward staff and city agencies to develop 8 ballot items, including street resurfacing. Voting took place from September 8 through September 21. 2,378 residents voted at the ward office, in the community, and online.

Community representatives worked with ward staff and city agencies to develop 8 ballot items. Voting took place April 26-May 2, 2014. 1,763 residents voted at 33 voting locations throughout the ward.

Community representatives worked with ward staff and city agencies to develop 10 ballot items. Voting took place April 18-25, 2015. 1,841 residents voted at 26 voting locations throughout the ward.
